AI Product Engineer

Product · Full-time · Hybrid

Northeast preferred · Salary + equity

The role

We are hiring an AI Product Engineer: a full-stack product manager who owns the whole path from customer insight to launch. You will talk with RIA and wealth advisor clients, turn what they say into working AI-built prototypes, test those prototypes with clients, hand Engineering a complete and buildable prototype, and create the marketing materials that bring it to market.

You will build, ship, and tell the story yourself, using AI as your main tool. This position reports directly to the Founders. It is a hybrid role, combining remote and in-office work, with candidates based in the Northeast preferred.

About Intellebox

Intellebox builds relationship intelligence for wealth management. Our purpose-built AI agents connect firm knowledge, meetings, signals, and client context into prepared work that advisors review. Humans Lead. Agents Scale.

What you’ll do

Customer discovery and feedback

  • Hold regular discovery and feedback sessions with advisors, operations teams, and firm leaders at RIAs and wealth management firms.
  • Turn client conversations into clear problem statements, user stories, and priorities.
  • Build close relationships with design partners and early customers who will shape the product.

Rapid AI-powered prototyping

  • Use AI tools such as Lovable, Claude, Perplexity, Cursor, v0, and similar platforms to build working prototypes in days, not weeks.
  • Put prototypes in front of clients quickly, gather feedback, and keep iterating until the solution is validated.
  • Design and test agent workflows, prompts, and user experiences for Aiden, Eva, Lyra, and future agents.

Engineering handoff

  • Turn validated prototypes into complete, build-ready packages for Engineering: a working prototype, requirements, user flows, edge cases, data and integration needs, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with Engineering through build, QA, and release so the shipped product matches what was validated.
  • Factor in compliance, supervision, data security, and auditability in regulated wealth management.

Go-to-market and marketing

  • Write launch materials: product one-pagers, demo scripts, videos, release notes, sales enablement content, website copy, and client-facing guides.
  • Work with leadership on positioning, messaging, and pricing input for new features.
  • Help with demos and sales conversations when product expertise is needed.

Process and operational excellence

  • Build and maintain repeatable, well-documented product processes, from intake and prioritization to release and feedback loops.
  • Keep documentation clean, decisions traceable, and details from falling through the cracks.
  • Help design and automate internal workflows with AI agents as part of our goal to be fully agentic across the business.

What you bring

Required

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally including end-to-end ownership of products from discovery to launch.
  • Domain expertise in building products for the wealth advisor / RIA industry. You know how advisors work, how RIAs operate, and the regulatory and compliance landscape, including SEC, FINRA, recordkeeping, and supervision.
  • Hands-on familiarity with the wealthtech ecosystem: CRMs such as Salesforce, Wealthbox, and Redtail; financial planning tools such as eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, and RightCapital; portfolio and performance reporting such as Orion, Addepar, and Black Diamond; and custodial platforms.
  • Strong practical AI skills. You use tools like Lovable, Claude, Perplexity, ChatGPT, or Cursor every day to prototype, research, write, and ship.
  • Comfort talking directly with clients and executives: running discovery, presenting prototypes, and turning feedback into action.
  • Strong writing and visual communication skills for both product requirements and marketing materials.
  • A detail-oriented, process-minded approach to building systems and maintaining useful documentation.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous seed-stage environment, owning outcomes with little direction.

Nice to have

  • Experience building or managing AI agent, LLM-powered, or workflow automation products.
  • Technical fluency with APIs, data models, integrations, and prompt engineering, or a background in software development.
  • Prior experience at an early-stage startup through a period of rapid growth.
  • Experience working at, or closely with, an RIA, broker-dealer, or wealth management firm.
  • Product marketing or go-to-market experience.

Why Intellebox

  • Ground-floor ownership. Help shape the product, processes, and culture of a seed-stage company.
  • AI in the work itself. Help build toward our goal of using AI agents across product, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations.
  • A human purpose. Help advisors serve more families while keeping the personal relationship at the center of wealth management.
  • Salary plus equity. Competitive startup salary plus equity.
